Now, that you have understood what data is, you probably ask yourself ; Where the “Science” part of it?

In order to have effective marketing process, they have to match the potential buyer with the advertisement. This process needs data science.

You can imagine that without insights from data science process, the visitors who don’t like basketball could be given the ads about Lebron James basketball jersey or the visitors who are from low temperature places could be given the ads about a fan.

The last but not least is that data science can be used for research. What I mean by research is that the insight doesn’t have to be used right away, but it can be used in the future.

As we know, Data science is used a lot to do research in platform like kaggle such as; diagnosing prostate cancer, and identifying the foliar disease in apple trees
